Spring is here and now almost gone. The weather has gotten much warmer and is starting to verge on hot now. The children are out of school or soon to be out of school. At this point, lots of people are turning their attention to maintaining their lawns and gardens and looking forward to summer vacations, picnics, etc.
Each year we set aside a Sunday in the month of May to recognize the woman in our life with whom we have a very special bond.
Spring has sprung at The Frenchman’s Corner. We’ve received our first shipments of items for Easter and Spring. Neuhaus has introduced a wonderful selection of eggs with fantastic fresh spring-like flavors like: lemon, raspberry-rose, jasmine, orange blossom and violet. The adorable little pig truffles are back again.
The traditional new year begins with the Chinese lunar calendar which, this year, begins on February 5. The new year starts with the first new moon that falls between January 21 and February 20.
