Weddings are one of those rites of passage to which many of us aspire. Once two hearts are lucky enough to find one another and decide that they are ready to take this next step in their lives together, there are usually dozens and dozens of decisions that need to be made to celebrate that special day. The Frenchman’s Corner is here to assist you with some of those decisions.

The Frenchman’s Corner carries a line of extremely beautiful and delicious single serving French pastries that are made here in the United States. People often exclaim that “They look too beautiful to eat.” We typically carry several types of cheesecakes, traditional European and American pastries. We even usually carry two gluten free cake options. Our pastry options are available here. The Frenchman’s Corner can provide the number of pastries that you would like and then you or your caterer/event venue can arrange them in any way that suits you at your reception.
Ordering Pastries:
In order to ensure that we have enough of all of the pastries that you need for your special day, we need to receive orders (over quantity 15) and payment at least 30 days prior to the event date. (We will deliver pastries to venues within 20 miles of our store location for a delivery fee. For venues outside of the 20 mile radius from our store, the pastries must be picked up from our store unless other arrangements are made with us.) It is recommended that the pastries be picked up frozen in order to keep them as fresh as possible for the event. They typically will thaw out within about 30 minutes or so. They are typically better served at room temperature.
Wedding Gift Options:
We have a variety of gift box options for use as wedding favors, guest welcome gifts, etc. We carry a range of pre-packed Neuhaus chocolates that are beautifully boxed and/or wrapped and are perfect for any gift occasion. We additionally offer wedding favor boxes that can be custom filled with any of our chocolates.
Other Gifts for Showers, Parties, etc.
In addition to our pastries, we have other available options for your special occasions.

- Specialty cordial cherries – perfect for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, tea parties, etc.
- Lovely custom package boxes with a mixture of chocolates from our Belgian and high end American chocolatiers.

The pastries or any of the gifts mentioned above are perfect for other events such as rehearsal dinners, bridal or baby shows, birthdays, tea parties and host/hostess or employee gifts.
A Brief History
The Frenchman’s Corner began in a tumultuous time. It opened in September 2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks, and has been in business continuously since that time. It was a single case of Neuhaus chocolates in the foyer of what is now Grass Roots on E. Davis St. in Culpeper, VA. Over the years, the store has expanded its offerings to include other high end European and American chocolates. Today, the store remains an independent retailer of Neuhaus chocolates (one of Belgium’s oldest and most famous chocolate makers.) We also offer high end American made chocolates and toffees, French pastries, as well as, a variety of fine coffees, teas and other gourmet items.
