Today, marrons glacés, are still made in their simplest form, as glazed chestnuts, but may also be used as for creme de marrons, an ingredient in other confections.
I think owning a candy store has me always thinking… how did we come up with this type of candy, or what is the origin of a particular type of candy. I thought I would share a little about the history of why we give out candy on halloween, and don’t forget to stop by and see us on the 31st.
