Enjoy Restaurant Week!

As many of you know, restaurant week is right around the corner.  This year the warm fall days forecast next week, are  perfect for a night out.  We have always loved restaurant week, it is a great excuse to go have a fine meal, and explore downtown Culpeper.  We used to make a special trip to Culpeper before we became full time residents, and attempted to eat at all the downtown restaurants that week.  Restaurant week also gives people the chance to eat out, at a fixed price, and have a great multi-course meal.  Many of the restaurants have created special plates just for the week.

I have had friends ask us “What restaurants should we try?”, or folks that are traveling often ask that same question.  I think the answer is simple, they are all great.  I will confess we have a special love affair with Foti’s.  We have been eating at Foti’s from almost the beginning, and through the years have gotten to know Frank and Sue, and really the entire staff.  We eat there once a week on average, and over a decade of lovely meals, have not had a bad experience.  Foti’s was one of the reasons we eventually fell in love with Culpeper, and still love it to this day.

So, go out next week and have a great meal, and don’t forget to visit our shop!
